Whistleblowing

Definition

This term refers to the disclosure to third parties or publicly, by workers, of business illegal practices contrary to the public interest that have come to their attention in the workplace.

Protection

A whistleblower is only protected by the specific measures listed in Legislative Decree No. 24/2023 if they report the matter in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the same decree.

Example?

In accordance with the reporting conditions and procedures established by Legislative Decree No. 24/2023, I am reporting an incident of corruption involving the company I work for, of which I became aware in the course of my duties.
